Parliament Buildings is home to the Northern Ireland Assembly and is recognised as one of Northern Ireland’s great architectural set pieces. Leading a multi-disciplined team, Hamilton Architects developed a roof repair and ancillary works scheme which maintained the listed status of the buildings at all times, while promoting sustainability and minimising environmental impact. The work, which required considerable stakeholder involvement, was undertaken with minimum noise and disruption, allowing the business of Government to continue uninterrupted.
