This project transformed Enniskillen Castle from a myriad of historic buildings into a cohesive heritage gateway to County Fermanagh. A strategic conservation vision revealed the full historic significance of the site through the restoration and refurbishment of four existing buildings, along with delivery of a new state-of-the-art visitor centre. The project pooled museum, tourism and genealogy resources to become the first port-of-call for learning about Fermanagh’s heritage from the Drumclay Crannog to the G8 summit.
