North West Awards Salute Service Excellence of Hamilton Architects of Derry – award-winning designs include tourism, hotel and sports facilities

Hamilton Architects are delighted to have been recognised with the Professional Services Award at the North West Business Awards 2017.

The awards, organised by Londonderry Chamber of Commerce and City Centre Initiative, are regarded as the social event of the business calendar in the region.

Partner Seamus McCloskey and Director George Brolly accepted the award at a packed gala ceremony held at the Everglades Hotel.

“This award goes to the whole Hamilton’s team in Derry, who work very hard to deliver first class services to all our clients,” said Seamus. “We are very pleased that our expertise has been recognised by these prestigious awards.”

Hamilton have a track record of more than 26 years of successful practice in Derry~Londonderry. Seamus heads up the Queen Street office of 12 staff, which includes Directors George Brolly and Simon Doran.

The practice delivers projects within a broad range of sectors, currently including the prestigious Quiet Man Whiskey Distillery at Ebrington Square, Strand Road Holiday Inn Express and the new Grandstand at Punchestown Race Course.

In addition, the last year has seen the practice take on design services for £25m of new social housing in the city, two new primary schools in Derry and Omagh, and a £6m housing project in Ealing, London.
