A new single storey extension to the existing Old Mill Doctors Surgery, Newtownards, wraps around a new light filled entrance lobby and reception space.
The new lobby provides a more prominent entrance to the surgery and sits alongside a restructured parking layout which allows a simpler, safer pedestrian approach.
External finishes consist of white rendered walls above a brickwork plinth, with dark grey windows sized to match existing lintel and sill heights. Vertical grey standing seam zinc cladding defines the new porch and provides a contrast to the white render.
Windows and rooflights were sized to channel light into the waiting room and workspaces to offer a pleasant working and visitor environment.
