Work nearing completion on Bushmills creative hub

The new Courthouse Shared Space Creative Hub in Bushmills is nearing completion, with an anticipated delivery date of May. Work on the exterior envelope has finished, with focus now shifting to the inside of the building.

The Enterprise Causeway project is transforming the 1834, Victorian Grade B1 listed courthouse with a sensitive restoration and construction of a new, three-floor extension to the rear designed by Hamilton Architects.

The 15,600 sq ft complex will offer the wider local community a variety of amenities such as a messy studio, café, meeting and event spaces, retail, and 15 workshop spaces.

Funding for the project was provided through the EU PEACE IV Programme managed by the Special EU Programmes Body, with match-funding from the Department for Communities NI and the Department of Rural and Community Development Ireland.
