Hamilton Architects are pleased to confirm the appointment of our first Mental Health First Aider to help address mental wellbeing issues in the workplace.
We recognise that the challenge of maintaining positive mental wellbeing has never been greater than over the past two years of the pandemic.
Partner Michelle Canning said: “Many of us will be affected by mental health issues at some point in our lives and careers, so we are keen to assure staff that no one needs to feel alone and support is there if they need it.”
Our first aider has undertaken the Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) Northern Ireland Training Programme, which is endorsed by the Public Health Agency and Department of Health NI.
They will be available to any member of staff who feels they need support, whether that is through a confidential chat, practical advice, or signposting towards our professional service partners.
Hamilton Architects is a member of Inspire Wellbeing and Benenden Health Scheme, both of which offer counselling, therapy and access to medical care.
