Olympique Lyonnais Stadium – Populous Architects

We are delighted to welcome our new Senior Architect, Fabien Cadot, to the team. Fabien, who has over 20 years of professional experience, graduated in Architecture from the Ecole d’Architecture de Paris La Villette and has a degree in Civil Engineering.

His new post will see him working on an ambitious master plan for the £100m redevelopment of a prominent waterfront site at Queen’s Quay, Belfast, and delivering designs for the new £4.1m Enniskillen Library, Co Fermanagh.

Fabien has extensive experience in the sport and healthcare sectors. While with Populous Architects, he was Project Architect for the €250m Olympique Lyonnais Stadium (image above) and Le Havre Stadium (€80m) and provided expertise for the London 2012 Olympic Games, as well as other sports arena projects in the UK and the Middle East.

He coordinated services for the £165m PFI hospital project at the Royal Victorian Infirmary in Newcastle and was Project Architect on the 7,000sqm Clinical Offices Building project. Other experience includes delivering commercial retail projects in Austria, Germany, and France for prestigious US and UK brands and several residential housing projects. He also ran his own end-to-end residential market consultancy for private clients in the UK and France.
