Coleraine Library

An extensive refurbishment and extension to Coleraine Public Library, a unique fanned, three storey Grade B2 building designed in 1969. The project included upgrading the existing infrastructure, replacement of the exterior envelope and extensive internal remodelling. Two glass-clad extensions define the new entrance and provide universal access to all floor levels, while the once dated and tired interior has been transformed into a number of vibrant and flexible contemporary spaces.
