RICS awards salute Hamilton design expertise

Hamilton Architects are delighted to have won four accolades at the recent RICS Awards for Northern Ireland.

SERC Performing Arts, Computing & Engineering Campus, Bangor, secured Highly Commended in the Community Benefit category, while Seaview Hall, Glenarm, got another Highly Commended in the Regeneration category.

Hamilton’s are also particularly proud to have provided design services for SPACE People’s Park, Portadown, which won both the Community Benefit and Regeneration categories.

“These accolades demonstrate the substantial expertise of Hamilton Architects across a range of disciplines,” said Mark Haslett, who attended the ceremony with fellow Partner Paul Millar and some of the senior team.

“We are delighted to have achieved recognition of our talents as we open our London office and set our sights on growing our staff to a total of 65 architects and technicians over the next few years.”

The RICS Awards 2016 were made up of eight categories from Building Conservation to Tourism & Leisure and Infrastructure, and featured some of the country’s most popular new builds and recent restorations.

Property developer Gary McCausland hosted the awards, which were attended by representatives of the design and build sector, at a glitzy ceremony at La Mon Hotel.
