THE
PRACTICE
Servicing
the entire island of Ireland and the United
Kingdom from our offices in Belfast, Derry
and Dublin, we have developed a comprehensive
portfolio including many significant and award
winning projects.
The practice was established by
Alan Hamilton in 1972 in Belfast. Hamilton
Architects opened the office in Derry in 1992
and in Dublin in 2007.
We fully embrace a partnering
approach to design as recommended in “Creating
Excellence” (the
Office of Government Commerce guide to best
practice in construction)and utilise the Design
Quality
Indicator (DQI) Tool in the development of
our projects. The DQI Tool allows all client
groups
and end users the opportunity to participate
fully in the design process.
We demonstrate
our commitment to quality and sustainability
through our externally accredited
quality and environmental standards ISO 9001 & ISO
14001.
Hamilton Architects is a chartered
practice of both the Royal
Institute of British Architects (RIBA) and the Royal
Society of Ulster Architects (RSUA).
Acknowledging the importance
of people in maintaining a successful practice,
Hamilton

have a strong management team
led by Partners
